ABOUT EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICTS
Kerr County Emergency Services District #1 (ESD #1) is a political subdivision established in 1990 to provide stable funding to assure the communities within its boundaries the resources to support fire prevention, fire fighting, and other emergency services.
The statutes governing ESD's can be found in 9 Tex. Health & Safety Code § 775. The Texas State Association of Fire and Emergency Districts (SAFE-D) is another resource for information about ESD's including a FAQ page.

ESD #1 BOARD MEMBERS
Each member of the five person ESD board is appointed and approved by the County Commissioners Court for a 2-year term. Any ESD Board Member can be contacted directly at the ESD mailing address or email.

MEETING RECORDS
Regular Kerr County ESD #1 meetings are held at the Ingram Volunteer Fire Department on the 3rd Monday of each month at 5:00 pm. All meeting are open to the public except, if necessary, Commissioners go into closed executive session under Section 2 Article 6256-17 to meet with its attorney or to discuss matters related to real property or contracts.
